The Independence Pioneers DAR Chapter conducted the 22nd Annual Observance of Elizabeth "Bess" Wallace Truman's birthday at the Harry S. Truman Library in Independence, MO on Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at 2:00 PM. The program theme this year is "Remembering Bess Wallace Truman - A Birthday observance on the occasion of her 125th Birthday". The DAR, CAR, and the MOSSAR Color Guard team are shown here participating during the wreath-laying ceremony event, which was presented at Mrs. Truman's grave.
