The MOSSAR Color Guard from the Missouri Society of Sons of the American Revolution participated in the Dedication, which also included a musket salute. The Dedication for Captain Daniel Morgan Boone was held at the Captain Daniel Morgan Boone Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.

In attendance were representatives of the James Kearney Chapter of the United Daughters of the War of 1812, Captain Daniel Morgan Boone Chapter of the Society of the War of 1812 in the State of Missouri, the Captain Daniel Morgan Boone Chapter Color Guard; the Sons of the American Revolution Color Guard, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and Native Sons & Daughters of Greater Kansas City.
