323rd Meeting Harry S. Truman Chapter Independence, Missouri Saturday, May 12, 2012
The Harry S. Truman Chapter inducted Compatriot Christopher Vedder into the ranks at the 323rd Meeting on Saturday, May 12, 2012. President Dirk A. Stapleton and the Harry S. Truman Chapter Color Guard officiated during the ceremony. President Dirk Stapleton presented Compatriot Christopher Vedder with his membership oath and membership certificate. Compatriot David McCann, as the Sponsor of Compatriot Vedder, also participated in the ceremony. At the closing of the ceremony, Compatriot Christopher Vedder also received his Harry S. Truman Chapter Coin. All Harry S. Truman Chapter members congratulated Compatriot Christopher Vedder after the induction ceremony.
Compatriot Christopher Vedder stated that he was very proud about being installed into the SAR. Also after the ceremony, Compatriot Vedder was given a chance to tell us about his Patriot Ancestor, John Herndon.
