Walking around the town of Blue Springs, you'll see a placard on the sidewalk dated March 17, 1978 commemorating the World's Shortest Saint Patrick's Day Parade. It extended from one side of the street to the other. There is a sign on both sides of the sidewalk. Two plaques on Main Street sidewalks mark its start and end points -- from one side of the street to the other.
