Pictured here is the Harry S. Truman Chapter Color Guard and Regent Alyse Stoll of the Marguerite McNair DAR Chapter. The Harry S. Truman Chapter Color Guard attended the Marguerite McNair DAR Chapter Flag Day Presentation in Raytown, Missouri, in which they participated in a Revolution War program on 16 Colonal flags and their history at the Marguerite McNair DAR Chapter on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
The program was in conjuction with U.S. Flag Day, which is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened that day by resolution of the Second Continental Congress in 1777.
