The Harry S. Truman Chapter Color Guard Team participated on Saturday, June 20, 2009, during an opening exhibit, at the Midwest Genealogy Center located at 3440 S. Lee's Summit Road in Independence, MO. The exhibit currently displays articles on American Revolution uniforms, weapons and other artifacts. The display also includes information about the National Society Sons of the American Revolution.
The Midwest Genealogy Center is one of the nation's preeminent resources for family history. The MGC features 52,000 square feet of space to house all the resources and technology genealogists need to research.
