343rd Meeting Harry S. Truman Chapter Independence, Missouri Saturday, February 8, 2014
The Harry S. Truman Chapter inducted Compatriot Gary Coleman Wilcoxson into the ranks at the 343rd Meeting on Saturday, February 8, 2014. President Donald Lewis and the Harry S. Truman Chapter Color Guard officiated during the ceremony. President Lewis presented Compatriot Gary Coleman Wilcoxson with his membership oath and membership certificate. As his sponsor, Compatriot Robert Grover pinned the NSSAR Rosette to Compatriot Wilcoxson's lapel. At the closing of the ceremony, Compatriot Gary Coleman Wilcoxson also received his Harry S. Truman Chapter Coin. All Harry S. Truman Chapter members congratulated Compatriot Gary Coleman Wilcoxson after the induction ceremony.
Compatriot Gary Coleman Wilcoxson stated that he was very proud about being installed into the SAR. Also after the ceremony, Compatriot Gary Coleman Wilcoxson was given a chance to tell us about his Patriot Ancestor, John Wilcoxson.
