341st Meeting Harry S. Truman Chapter Independence, Missouri Saturday, December 14, 2013
The Harry S. Truman Chapter inducted Compatriot Reginald Day into the ranks at the 341st Meeting on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Vice-President Robert L. Grover and the Harry S. Truman Chapter Color Guard officiated during the ceremony. Vice-President Grover presented Compatriot Reginald Day with his membership oath and membership certificate. As his sponsor, Compatriot Robert Grover pinned the NSSAR Rosette to Compatriot Day's lapel. At the closing of the ceremony, Compatriot Reginald Day also received his Harry S. Truman Chapter Coin. All Harry S. Truman Chapter members congratulated Compatriot Reginald Day after the induction ceremony.
Compatriot Reginald Day stated that he was very proud about being installed into the SAR. Also after the ceremony, Compatriot Reginald Day was given a chance to tell us about his Patriot Ancestor, John Day.
