President Dirk Stapleton presented the NSSAR War Service Medal with certificate to Compatriot Perry Dean “Bud” Marks, Jr., at the December 8, 2012 meeting. The medal and certificate honors Compatriot Marks’ for his public service to his Nation, while serving in Vietnam and Southwest Asia. We thank Compatriot Marks for his service to this great nation. Compatriot Marks’ wife, Martha Marks, also participated in the presentation ceremony.

The medal and certificate honors Compatriot Marks’ for his public service to his Nation, while serving in Vietnam and Southwest Asia. We thank Compatriot Marks for his service to this great nation. Compatriot Marks’ wife, Martha Marks, also participated in the presentation ceremony. The chapter encourages all of our veteran members to wear their SAR War Service Medal or SAR Military Service Medal to recognize their service.
