326th Meeting Certificate of Appreciation Presentation Harry S. Truman Chapter Independence, Missouri Saturday, August 11, 2012
Pictured here are several Compatriots who have assisted the Harry S. Truman Chapter, in identifying the soldiers of the American Revolution, who found their final resting place within the boundaries of Northwest Missouri. The Harry S. Truman Chapter has embarked on this project as a tribute to each patriot buried in Northwest Missouri. The Harry S. Truman Chapter features monthly articles and posting of a biography about the Patriot on the chapter’s website at: American Revolution Soldiers Buried in Northwestern Missouri.
Four Compatriots were recognized, in which they received a Certificate of Appreciation for their efforts at the 326th Meeting on Saturday, August 11, 2012 in assisting with this endeavor. Compatriot Harry Dexheimer is shown in the left photo, in which he was recognized for conducting the initial research and providing the chapter with an excellent resource for many of the American Revolution Soldiers Buried in Northwestern Missouri. Compatriots Dale Crandell (not in photo), Compatriot Brian Smarker, Compatriot Dave McCann, and Compatriot Robert Grover were also recognized with this program and also assisting with grave marker preservation of American Revolution Soldiers Buried in Northwestern Missouri. Compatriot Dale Crandell will be presented with a Certificate of Appreciation at a later date.
