Mrs. Shirley McCann, spouse of Compatriot David McCann, received the 2010 Winona R. Yohe “Women of the Year” Award. The Harry S. Truman Chapter is extremely proud of Shirley McCann. Her support for our cause makes her a valuable asset to our state society and has provided MOSSAR with untold goodwill and publicity with other patriotic societies. She is a tremendous asset to our organization. The Winona R. Yohe Memorial Award is an opportunity to say “thank you” to one of those wonderful and indispensable women. The award is given annually by the Missouri Society to a woman who has shown outstanding support for SAR at the Chapter and/or State level.
