The Trail to Fort Osage DAR Marker Ceremony took place on Sunday, October 31, 2010, near the Fort Osage Education Center. In addition, the promotion of Captain Al Paris, also took place at the Trail to Fort Osage DAR Marker Ceremony. Major General Robert L. Grover, MOSSAR Color Guard Commander, and Brigadier General Russell F. DeVenney officiated in the promotion ceremony.
