The Southwest Missouri Homeschool History Fair is a collaborative effort among area homeschoolers, hosted by the Missouri State University Religious Studies Club. The fair was held in Strong Hall on the campus of MSU and provided dispalys and exhibits on projects from children age five through eighteen. The fair featured four different project categories including one for historical papers, an exhibition category, a media documentary category, and one for living history performance.

Various organizations including the MOSSAR Color Guard were on hand to conduct classes and workshops, including the interactive Picturing America program sponsored by the Independent Scholar. In addition, there was a musical survey of the history of American West by Roy "Dusty" Rogers, Jr.
