339th Meeting Harry S. Truman Chapter Independence, Missouri Saturday, October 12, 2013
The Harry S. Truman Chapter inducted Compatriot Thomas Barden into the ranks at the 339th Meeting on Saturday, October 12, 2013. President Donald Lewis and the Harry S. Truman Chapter Color Guard officiated during the ceremony. President Donald Lewis presented Compatriot Thomas Barden with his membership oath and membership certificate. As his sponsor, Compatriot Robert Grover pinned the NSSAR Rosette to Compatriot Kelsay 's lapel. At the closing of the ceremony, Compatriot Barden also received his Harry S. Truman Chapter Coin. All Harry S. Truman Chapter members congratulated Compatriot Thomas Barden after the induction ceremony.
Compatriot Barden stated that he was very proud about being installed into the SAR. Also after the ceremony, Compatriot Barden was given a chance to tell us about his Patriot Ancestor.
