335th Meeting Harry S. Truman Chapter Independence, Missouri Saturday, May11, 2013
The Harry S. Truman Chapter inducted Compatriot John Karl Stewart into the ranks at the 335th Meeting on Saturday, May11, 2013. President Donald Lewis and the Harry S. Truman Chapter Color Guard officiated during the ceremony. President Donald Lewis presented Compatriot Stewart with his membership oath and membership certificate. As his sponsor, Compatriot Robert Grover pinned the NSSAR Rosette to Compatriot Stewart's lapel. At the closing of the ceremony, Compatriot Stewart also received his Harry S. Truman Chapter Coin. All Harry S. Truman Chapter members congratulated Compatriot John Karl Stewart after the induction ceremony.
Compatriot Stewart stated that he was very proud about being installed into the SAR. Also after the ceremony, Compatriot Quint was given a chance to tell us about his Patriot Ancestor, John Crozier.
