The Harry S. Truman Chapter awarded two Compatriots the Silver MOSSAR award, for their tireless efforts at both the Chapter and State of Missouri level. Compatriot William Hartman and MOSSAR Color Guard Commander Robert L. Grover, have proven track records of accomplishment for their contributions both to this Chapter and at MOSSAR. Without their dedication, this chapter could not be as successful as it is. So, we feel very blessed to have these gentlemen supporting our organization.
Compatriot William Hartman in the left photo, has been a member for 14 Years. He joined on June 2, 1995. The positions at the HST Chapter that he has held include: Honorary Vice-President; President; Secretary; and Sgt-at- Arms. At MOSSAR: He has been Vice-President; and Sgt-at-Arms. He is currently Honorary Vice-President of the Harry S. Truman Chapter.
MOSSAR & HST Chapter Color Guard Commander Robert L. Grover, in the right photo, has been a member for 30 Years. He joined on March 19, 1979. Compatriot Grover is a National & MOSSAR Life member and a George Washington fellow. He is a dual Chapter member for the Ozark Mountain, Independence Patriots, and Kansas State Society. The positions at the HST Chapter that he has held include:President; Vice-President; Treasurer; Secretary; Sgt.-at-Arms; and Chaplain. At MOSSAR: Currently a Honorary Vice-President; MOSSAR Color Guard Commander; Past MOSSAR Positions: President; Vice-President; Trustee; At the South Central District: South Central District Vice President General. He is currently MOSSAR and HST Chapter Color Guard Commander.
