Reuben Harris Grave Marker - Blue Springs Cemetery, Jackson Co., Blue Springs, MO.
 
Patriot Reuben Harris assisted in establishing American Independence as a Private in Capt Knox’ Company, 6th Virginia Regiment; and as a Private in Col Pinckney’ 1st South Carolina Regiment. Reuben’s service is documented at the U.S. National Archives & Records Administration.
 
Reuben was born in 1760, Buckingham County, Virginia and died on 06 May 1842, Jackson County, Missouri. He is buried in the northwest section of the Blue Springs Cemetery located at 2800 Southwest Walnut Street, Blue Springs, Missouri.
